Heron Hill?
This particular
sandspit bluff, west of Grass Island, seems to be a favorite place
for the estuary's large wading birds - Blue Herons, Great Egrets,
and Snowy Egrets - to congregate. As many as 40+ birds can be seen
on occasion perched on the hillside. As the tide recedes, a tasty
smorgasbord of marine critters will be exposed in the shallows and
on the mud flats below this bluff.

A few days after the congestion.
