Two Marbled Godwits and a Whimbrel
Limosa fedoa
Numenius phaeopus
The Marbled Godwit is very common in
the estuary, seen singly, in small groups, and in large flocks.
Whimbrels are seen much less frequently and, in many instances, as
in this photo, a single bird in the company of different species.
